In the field of sport, he was formerly known as sekiwake (a sumo wrestler of the

runs sumo stable. For now, he trains and leads more than 20 sumo wrestlers as

[Calligrapher] Mr.Yanagida

He said he had a dream for many years. That was to host his own exhibition of
calligraphy in China. Those who are able to make a dream come true are happy,
even if they had to overcome hardships many times. After 5 years of preparation
period, the "Taizan Yanagida Beijing calligraphy exhibition" was finally held on the
3rd of November, 2010, and many celebrities visited the National Art Museum of
China. Mr. Taizan Yanagida, a son of the master of Japanese calligrapher Mr. Taiun
Yanagida, must have been a great pleasure to host the calligraphy exhibition at this
time.

[Construction Technologies]

"Tokyo Sky Tree", boasting a height of 634m, is the tallest free-standing
broadcasting tower in the world. The tower is an accomplishment derived from a
number of great technologies that Japan proudly presents to the world. They are,
for instance, the pile foundation that supports the tower reaching down to 50m
below the ground, the giant steal pipe that gradually changes from a triangular
shape at the base to a circular form higher up, the antenna that withstands wind
gusts of 110m per second, the specially made tower crane that works on 500m
above the ground, and the "Shimbashira-Seishin" (Center Column Vibration Control)
system that was reproduced from Japanese traditional architectural techniques
used in the five-story pagoda using the latest technology. Obayashi Corporation is
utilizing these technologies in the construction of the Tokyo Sky Tree. An executive
officer of Obayashi Corporation is a member of the Rotary Club.
